The UTET examination is held to evaluate the eligibility of candidates who are qualified to teach in Uttar Pradesh public schools. The UPTET examination will be held in two sessions, Paper 1 and Paper 2. The maximum number of marks allowed for the exam is 150 and the time duration allowed is 150 minutes for each paper. Those who wish to teach for classes I to V can give the UTET Paper 1, and teach for classes V to VIII can give Paper 2.
